The Summer Event with Stephen
Lloyd-Morgan – El Castillo de la Duquesa – 22nd August
The Summer Event, to be held inside the
magnificent El Castillo de la
Duquesa on Saturday 22nd August, looks set to be the
major highlight of this summer´s local entertainment programme, with a
spectacular `Al Fresco´ evening of Musical Theatre , Opera and `Il Divo´
style classics, from some of the Coasts most popular and acclaimed
entertainers.
Welsh Tenor Stephen Lloyd-Morgan; dubbed
`the latest singing sensation to
sweep the coast´, will headline the two hour show and is delighted
to be joined by the newly formed
Tres Divos; who themselves have already achieved great success.
Their recent performances include the opening of Jean Christophe
Novelli´s exclusive new restaurant in Puerto Banus, and at other top
venues Finca Cortesin, Hotel Puente Romano and The Marbella Beach Club.
Tres Divos
combine and harmonise the fantastic Tenor voices of Arran Harding, Tom
Lowe and Nicholas Pound, who all have a wealth of West End and touring
experience.
Also in the accomplished line-up will be English
soprano Donna-Marie, and award-winning Spanish Classical Guitarist
Stephen Greenwood.
Donna-Marie
is another sensation to cause a stir among critics in the industry.
Her soaring voice, beautiful tone, and
vocal versatility have earned her critical acclaim as both an operatic
and classical singer. Her unique tone has been likened to starlet
Katherine Jenkins. This will be her debut performance on the Costa del
Sol, following recent West End performances at The Palace Theatre and
Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Stephen Greenwood
is an internationally
recognised professional Spanish Classical Guitarist. He is known for
captivating an audience with his uniquely sensitive yet passionate
style.
Last year he was the winner of The
Gibraltar Music Festival.
As well as each performing their own diverse
repertoires, Stephen Lloyd-Morgan will also accompany
Tres Divos, Donna-Marie and
Stephen Greenwood with a mix of Opera Crossover Classics and Musical
Theatre numbers.
